Hotel Operations Manager
Location: Oswego County, NY
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time. Nights and weekends will be required as business needs dictate.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and service-focused Hotel Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This position plays a critical role in the day-to-day operation of a full-service hotel, helping to ensure exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and effective coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and other operational departments.
- Ensure outstanding guest service and timely resolution of guest concerns.
- Lead, coach, and support department supervisors and team members.
- Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Department to identify, communicate, and follow up on property needs and guest-impacting issues.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, presentation, safety, and operational standards are maintained.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Coordinate and manage group bookings, rooming lists, group arrivals, and event-related accommodations.
- Serve as a liaison between Sales, Operations, and Group Clients to ensure successful execution of group business.
- Manage Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, billing follow-up, and collection efforts.
- Assist with Accounts Payable functions, invoice processing, coding, and vendor communication.
- Review daily reports, occupancy forecasts, guest feedback, and operational metrics.
- Monitor labor costs and departmental productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and safety regulations.
- Participate in manager-on-duty coverage as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hotel supervisory or management experience.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards.
- Experience with group reservations, room blocks, and guest relations preferred.
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
