Trophy Nissan in Mesquite, TX (Eastern Dallas Market) is seeking an experienced and motivated Pre-Owned Sales Director / Used Car Sales Manager to lead all aspects of our pre-owned vehicle operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Pre-Owned Vehicle Department, including sales, inventory, and reconditioning operations
  • Hire, train, and motivate a large sales team to exceed monthly and annual volume goals
  • Oversee used vehicle acquisition, trade appraisals, pricing strategy, and retail market positioning
  • Analyze market data, turn rates, and profit margins using tools like vAuto, DealerSocket, and AutoTrader
  • Drive profitability while maintaining a 45–60 day inventory turn cycle
  • Work collaboratively with F&I, Service, and Marketing to improve gross profit and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure all transactions comply with state and federal regulations, and uphold Trophy Nissan’s high ethical standards

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership in automotive retail, preferably as a Used Car Manager, General Sales Manager, or Pre-Owned Director
  • Proven track record in managing high-volume pre-owned operations
  • Expert-level understanding of inventory sourcing, appraising, and market-based pricing
  • Results-oriented leadership style with the ability to coach, motivate, and retain top talent
  • Proficiency with CRMs and digital retailing platforms (vAuto, Dealertrack, DealerSocket, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
