Position Summary:

Full Time

Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday – Friday)

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour - Based on experience 

 

Reports to and receives written and verbal assignments from Department Manager or Supervisor. Performs a variety of general maintenance work on equipment and systems and provides support to other work units as needed.

 

Job Duties:

  • Must be able to read prints and make working drawings.
  • Must be able to measure and field design to fit the particular needs of equipment repair or replacement.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and make load calculations.
  • Must be able to calculate and order parts and materials as assigned.
  • Must be able to do limited duct work.
  • Must leave all work areas in a clean condition.
  • Responsible for using the proper methods for maintaining, repairing or installing all HVAC related equipment. Responsible for ensuring all work conforms to local, state and federal codes or regulations.
  • Must be able to work on an “on call” basis when assigned.
  • Must be able to supply own hand tools.
  • Must operate and maintain all tools needed to perform assignments in a safe manner.
  • Must work in an agreeable manner with co-workers, other departments and residents.
  • Maintains professional growth and development through education programs, seminars, workshops, etc. Research new techniques, materials, equipment, and make recommendations to supervisor or manager.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization and all federal and state laws regarding the privacy of protected health information.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization regarding the use of technology and technology-based information.
  • Perform other duties as directed

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:   High School diploma.

Minimum Experience: Should have two years prior experience in related general maintenance and HVAC experience.
