Service Porter

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you’ll support the service department by helping coordinate customer vehicle flow and creating a smooth, welcoming experience for customers. You’ll help keep things moving throughout the day by supporting customers and team members while ensuring vehicles and service operations are properly supported. This position is onsite Monday – Friday (7/8am to 5:30pm) and Saturday (8am to 1pm).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Prep customer vehicles for Service Technicians.
• Greet guests and direct them to the appropriate person or location.
• Support Service Advisors with customer needs as needed.
• Clean the service department and customer waiting lounge.
• Restock service department-related supplies.
• Assist with picking up and delivering customer vehicles when needed.
• Assist with test-driving customer vehicles when needed.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and efficient.
• Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver's license.
• Must allow pre-employment screenings, background, driving, and drug test.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation and comply with workplace health procedures as directed by the public health department.
