Quick Lube Advisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you’ll serve as a point of contact for customers by creating a positive and efficient Quick Lube experience. You’ll help build customer trust through strong communication, knowledgeable support, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service while representing Berger Chevrolet’s dedication to quality, care, and customer satisfaction. This is an onsite position, Monday - Friday (7:30am - 5:00pm) with rotating Saturdays (8:00am - 1:00pm), with occasional extended hours to support customers as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, promptly addressing concerns or issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Effectively communicate with customers regarding their automotive concerns, and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations for service needs.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient and timely completion of services, communicating any specific customer requests or concerns effectively.
• Recommend maintenance per GM guidelines or additional findings that may arise during the service process to customers.
• When appropriate, educate customers about additional GM maintenance services or products that can benefit their vehicles.
• Prepare accurate and detailed repair orders, ensuring that all customer requests and service recommendations are documented.
• Handle customer payments, process transactions, and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to provide customers with a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prefer prior automotive industry experience in a customer service setting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills include data entry, repair order creation, and payment processing.
• Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and efficient.
• Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver's license.
• Must allow pre-employment screenings, background, driving, and drug test.
