Automotive Service Consultant

Job Summary
Bellingham Nissan is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Automotive Service Consultant to join our team. This key role serves as the primary point of contact between our customers and the Service Department. The ideal candidate will excel in both customer service and sales, building strong relationships and ensuring a seamless service experience. The estimated salary for this role is $50,000-$100,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly, addressing their service concerns and needs.
• Provide clear updates to customers regarding service timelines and work status.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and maintain relationships.
• Make service recommendations based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
• Educate customers on vehicle maintenance and services to enhance their understanding.
• Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them efficiently and professionally.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, encouraging repeat business.
• Accurately input and document customer and vehicle information into our system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service and sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Computer-literate with the ability to manage customer data and service records.
• Ability to maneuver in, on, and around vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
