Sales and Service Assistant
The sales and service assistant plays a key support role within the dealership, assisting the sales and service teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, scheduling service appointments, coordinating vehicle deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting administrative and clerical tasks. This position requires excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills, a customer-first attitude, and a willingness to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in the showroom and service areas, creating a positive first impression
- Answer incoming calls, schedule service appointments, and route inquiries to the appropriate department
- Support the sales team by preparing paperwork, organizing files, and coordinating test drives and vehicle deliveries
- Assist the service team with updating repair orders, confirming appointments, and contacting customers regarding service updates
- Keep customer waiting areas, inventory displays, and brochures neat and up to date
- Enter and maintain accurate customer information in the dealership system
- Facilitate communication between sales, service, and parts departments for smooth operations
- Assist with dealership events, marketing promotions, and customer satisfaction initiatives
- Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, scanning, printing, and document organization
- Handle basic customer concerns or direct them to appropriate team members for resolution
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in customer service, clerical work, or a dealership environment preferred
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Bilingual skills are a plus
