In this role, you will be responsible for tracking warranty claims, processing returns, and investigating product issues. We are looking for someone who excels at multitasking and can thrive in the fast-paced environment of our warranty department. As our company grows, your responsibilities will expand, so we seek a candidate who is passionate about growing with us.

Warranty administrators ensure that the dealership receives payment for warranty work by preparing, submitting, and following up on claims.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Processing all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verify the criteria required by the factory or distributor. 
  • Staying updated on all factory recalls and announcements. 
  •  Arranging for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and promptly resubmitting all rejected claims.
  • Assisting with body shop warranty claims and following up on outstanding claims.
  • Reconciling all warranty receivables and collaborating with the accounting department to secure payments.
  • Tracking all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, the date of replacement, and the date on which the part may be disposed of.
  • Maintaining all service and customer records as required by the warrantor.

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ year of Automotive warranty clerk experience required
  • Warranty administrators should have experience with automotive parts (identification, inspection, classification of component groups, etc.)
  • Overall automotive vehicle knowledge
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Assist with Used Car Service Tickets

Schedule:

 

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

 

  • Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
