WHAT YOU'LL DO

 

Help our youngest learners feel safe, loved, and excited to discover the world!

• Nurture and Care: Provide attentive, loving care in a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom.

• Support Development: Lead and participate in age-appropriate activities that encourage cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.

• Inspire Exploration: Encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and learning through engaging experiences.

• Keep Children Safe: Closely supervise children and follow health, hygiene, safety, and childcare procedures.

• Support Daily Routines: Assist with feeding, diapering, toileting as appropriate, nap times, and other daily care needs.

• Build Strong Relationships: Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and school leadership.

• Collaborate and Grow: Work with fellow educators to maintain an organized classroom and participate in ongoing professional development.

 

QUALIFICATIONS — ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?

 

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 45-hour Child Growth & Development certification

• 45-hour Infant/Toddler certification

• At least one year of experience in a licensed childcare center OR 30 college credits

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning

• Commitment to continuous professional growth

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities

 

Preferred Qualification:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

POSITION DETAILS

Position: Infant & Toddler Teacher
Pay: $17–$22 per hour
Employment Type: Part-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, minimum of 3 hours per day
Hours of Operation: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
Work Arrangement: On-site only; remote work is not available
