POSITION DETAILS

Position: Preschool Teacher
Pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time (please confirm availability for the intended part-time schedule)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Work Setting: In Person

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Inspire Young Learners: Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and development.

• Create a Nurturing Classroom: Maintain a safe, clean, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment.

• Support Child Development: Help children develop their social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical skills.

• Encourage Positive Behavior: Guide children with patience, kindness, and age-appropriate classroom management strategies.

• Build Strong Relationships: Communicate professionally and respectfully with families and fellow educators.

• Make Learning Fun: Encourage exploration, independence, cooperation, and a love of learning through meaningful daily experiences.

• Work as a Team: Collaborate with colleagues to support classroom goals and maintain high-quality childcare standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Required: 45 Hours Child Growth & Development certification.

• Preferred: 45 Hours Preschool Curriculum certification.

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

• Previous preschool or childcare experience preferred.

• A genuine passion for teaching and working with young children.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

• A positive, dependable, patient, and nurturing attitude.

• The ability to create an engaging, supportive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
