WHAT YOU'LL DO AS AN INFANT & TODDLER TEACHER

 

Help create meaningful learning experiences for our youngest learners every day!

 

• Provide Loving Care: Create a safe, clean, nurturing, and welcoming environment where infants and toddlers feel secure and supported.

• Support Early Development: Encourage age-appropriate learning, exploration, and developmental milestones through engaging activities and play.

• Build Meaningful Connections: Develop positive relationships with children and communicate effectively with families and fellow teachers.

• Maintain Classroom Safety: Supervise children attentively and follow established health, safety, and childcare procedures.

• Encourage Independence: Help children develop early social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.

• Collaborate with the Team: Work alongside fellow educators to maintain a positive classroom environment and provide quality childcare.

QUALIFICATIONS: WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

 

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 45-hour Child Growth & Development certification

• 45-hour Infant/Toddler certification

• At least one (1) year of experience in a licensed childcare center OR 30 college credits

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning practices

• Commitment to continuous professional growth

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

POSITION DETAILS

 

Position: Infant & Toddler Teacher
Employment Type: Part-Time
Pay: $17–$22 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Minimum Hours: At least 3 hours per day
Hours of Operation: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Setting: On-site only; remote work is not available
