Teacher Aide – Job Description

As a Teacher Aide, you will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting teachers with daily classroom activities

• Supervising and supporting children during play and learning activities

• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom

• Assisting children with daily routines and transitions

• Supporting individual children with patience and encouragement

• Preparing classroom materials and activities

• Working cooperatively with teachers and other staff

• Helping create a warm and positive experience for every child

• Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 1 year of related experience

• Must be at least 18 years old

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time positions available

Schedule Options:

• Full-time: 8-hour shifts

• Part-time: 3+ hours per day

Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM

Location: On-site; telework not available
