Looking for a consistent part-time position where you can make a difference in the lives of young children?

Bambini Montessori Academy is hiring an Afternoon Childcare Aide to join our team in Ellicott City, MD.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants a dependable Monday–Friday afternoon schedule with no mornings, weekends, or evenings.

Our warm, Montessori-inspired child care center serves children ages 6 weeks to 5 years and provides a supportive environment for both children and staff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Afternoon Childcare Aide, you will:

• Support lead teachers with afternoon activities and routines

• Assist children with snacks, nap time, diapering, and transitions

• Engage children in play and developmentally appropriate learning

• Help keep classrooms safe, clean, and organized

• Promote positive behavior and social-emotional growth

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Experience in childcare, babysitting, or early education (preferred)

• Infant/Toddler experience is a plus

• Patient, dependable, and great with young children

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift

• 45-hour Child Development training preferred — or willingness to complete
