Service Porter / Shuttle Driver

Baker Automotive Group has a unique opportunity for the right candidate wanting to start their career with an automotive dealership group.  We are looking for a Service Porter / Shuttle Driver at our beautiful Buick GMC dealership in Hudsonville, MI.  This is a full-time hourly paid position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely shuttle service customers to and from the dealership.
• Keep service vehicles organized and in the right place
• Assist Advisors with keeping the service lane clear of vehicles and staging completed vehicles to be picked up.
• Keep dealership grounds clean, organized and free of debris.
• Empty trash, remove cardboard and scrap in the service department.
• Assist the department with errands such as scrap disposal, parts pick-up, supply runs, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• From big to small, you take pride in everything you do
• A clean, valid driver’s license is required.  You must be insurable.
• Comfortable with guest interaction
• The ideal candidate wants to start a career in service repair and grow into a Technician role.
• Able to work full time.  Is reliable and dependable.
• Able to work on your feet and lift up to 25lbs
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (Background & Drug & MVR)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
