Speech Language Pathologist

Shifts Available: PRN

  • Holidays Observed (6) Full time field clinicians are eligible to receive an option of holiday units plus units worked or a floating holiday within the same pay period of the observed holiday. PRN field clinicians will receive an additional $10 per visit for visits completed on an observed holiday.
  • You are eligible to enroll in benefits on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment
  • Phone usage reimbursement is 75.00 per month (clinicians)
  • PTO accrual begins on the first day of employment; and may be used after completing 90 days of employment
  • Full Time and Part Time clinicians will be compensated for mileage at the IRS equivalent annual rate for the time of mileage occurrence

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates rehabilitation of patients with emotional, physical, or mental disabilities.
  • Implements speech therapy care plans.
  • Coordinates care with entire team.
  • Educates patients and family members.
  • Prepares timely, complete, and accurate clinical notes.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, office support and other care team members.

Qualifications:

  • Speech language pathologist in the State of Texas.
  • Home health experience highly preferred.
  • Experience with Home Care Home Base EMR (preferred but not required).
  • Knowledge of home health regulations and general healthcare compliance.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Good driving record.
  • Proficient level experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional communication and people skills.
