"Rehab Tech/Office Assistant" is a role that combines both patient support and administrative duties within the rehabilitation department at Ave Maria Home. He/she will work under the supervision of rehabilitation professionals like physical therapists or occupational therapists.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Assistance:Assisting with patient care, which may involve helping patients with exercises and mobility, preparing treatment areas, and providing routine treatments like applying hot/cold packs.

Administrative Tasks:Performing a range of office support duties, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, handling insurance and billing paperwork, and assisting with general clerical work such as answering phones and filing.

Equipment Management:Maintaining and organizing rehabilitation equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality, and managing supplies.

Communication:Interacting with patients, colleagues, and potentially families, maintaining a professional and supportive demeanor.
Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Basic computer skills and ability to use office equipment.

Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
