As an RN, you will provide leadership and oversight of nursing services during your assigned shift, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while fostering positive outcomes and resident and family satisfaction.

Pay Rate: Starting at $42.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus for Full Time New Hires: $10,000 paid in installments every 90 days during the first year of employment. 


Position Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and overseeing nursing services to ensure residents receive efficient, effective, and compassionate care in accordance with federal and state regulations, professional standards of practice, and facility policies and procedures.

This role provides clinical leadership, mentors nursing staff, collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and advocates for the health, safety, and well-being of each resident.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
  • Deliver and oversee person-centered nursing care that promotes each resident's highest practicable level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
  • Ensure timely communication with physicians, families, and responsible parties regarding significant changes in residents' health status.
  • Administer and oversee medication management practices to ensure safe handling, storage, and administration of medications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including therapy, social services, dietary, and activities to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Ensure accidents, incidents, grievances, and adverse events are appropriately documented, investigated, and reported according to company policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor, educate, and support nursing staff while promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives, infection prevention efforts, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Advocate for resident rights and ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect all resident health information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and community partners.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program required.
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, or senior living preferred.
  • Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Strong assessment, communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for serving older adults and commitment to person-centered care.
