An established, dealership in the Washington DC area is seeking to hire a dynamic and experienced GENERAL MANAGER. The successful candidate must have 2- 3 years of stable employment history at the GM level with a proven track record of verifiable, superior CSI and market share performance. Responsibilities:

  • Is responsible for the operations and profitability of all departments.
  • Oversees the staffing of the dealership, hiring and training new employees
  • Sets sales quotas and goals and assists in financing arrangements
  • Actively supports, encourages, and motivates managers daily to maintain high morale
  • Exhibits a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity, and accountability.
  • Will be accountable for daily performance metrics in overall store performance
  • Supports other operational units within the store to achieve maximum return on opportunity for the dealership
  • The GM responsibilities include supervision of Sales Managers, F&I Managers, Service/Parts Managers, and all other personnel. The highest professionalism and integrity are essential for consideration.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have 2 - 3 years of stable employment history at the GM level with a proven track record of verifiable, superior CSI and market share performance
  • Must be well organized and demonstrate excellent Customer Service and PR skills
  • Must have strong leadership, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Must have knowledge of basic accounting and advanced computer skills
