Position Summary:

Atzenhoffer Chevrolet is looking for a hands-on Internet Sales Manager who is passionate about driving performance through daily action, lead accountability, and structured follow-up. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable jumping on a phone call as they are leading a team huddle — someone who doesn’t just manage the BDC process, but owns it from lead to appointment to sold.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead Management & Engagement

  • Personally engage high-value leads and actively work the CRM to ensure no opportunity is missed.

  • Oversee execution of a structured multi-touch follow-up cadence (17 touches across 3 days) for all new leads, with a focus on appointment conversion.

  • Monitor response times, contact attempts, and lead progress throughout the funnel.

  • Review dropped leads and reassign or re-engage when necessary to salvage opportunities.

BDC Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and motivate BDC representatives through side-by-side management.

  • Conduct daily check-ins and provide live coaching during phone sessions.

  • Monitor call quality, email/text messaging, and appointment setting for effectiveness and professionalism.

  • Enforce consistent CRM usage and lead notes — no “ghost leads” allowed.

Appointment & Show Rate Optimization

  • Drive confirmed appointment volume through real-time coaching, scripting, and call reviews.

  • Track and manage appointment confirmations and show rates daily.

  • Partner with sales managers to ensure seamless handoff from appointment to showroom.

  • Immediately follow up on no-shows and cancellations to reschedule.

Performance Tracking & Accountability

  • Own the daily tracking of appointment set, confirmed, and shown metrics — maintaining full visibility via internal trackers and reporting.

  • Maintain and update lead progress statuses to reflect Green, Yellow, or Red based on activity and intent.

  • Provide weekly performance scorecards to the management team highlighting team results, conversion rates, and areas for improvement.

  • Run weekly one-on-ones with team members to align on performance, pipeline activity, and coaching focus.

Sales Integration & Collaboration

  • Ensure smooth coordination between BDC, sales managers, and front-line reps to protect the customer experience.

  • Prepare appointment briefs for sales managers and oversee handoffs to ensure nothing gets lost in translation.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership on missed appointment recovery, unsold showroom follow-up, and prospecting campaigns.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in a dealership Internet Sales or BDC leadership role

  • Strong CRM fluency (eLeads preferred)

  • Track record of improving lead conversion and appointment show rates

  • Exceptional phone presence, written communication skills, and problem-solving ability

  • Comfortable leading by example: making calls, jumping into tough leads, and coaching in real time

  • Results-oriented with a passion for structure, accountability, and continuous improvement

Compensation:
