Responsibilities:

• Repair and replace faulty components, systems, and parts, ensuring adherence to manufacturer's specifications and dealership standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate assessments of vehicle condition and repair costs.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques.
• Ensure a clean and organized work area and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive repair is preferred.
• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, specifically working with used vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address mechanical issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension.
• Familiarity with various makes and models of used vehicles.
