Location: 100% Remote (Must reside in New York or New Jersey)

Compensation: Base $60,000 – $66,000 + Commission ($40,000 – $44,000)= $100,000 - 110,000 OTE

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card required (no sponsorship available)

 

About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a fast-growing, technology-driven organization in the cybersecurity and networking space.

 

This is a true hunter role focused on net-new business development within enterprise accounts. You will play a critical role in building pipeline, generating qualified opportunities, and supporting the field sales organization.

 

This position offers a strong career growth path into Sales Account Management and beyond for high performers.

 

What You’ll Do

  • - Generate new business opportunities through high-volume outbound prospecting (cold - calls, email, social selling)

  • - Execute structured prospecting sequences and sales plays

  • - Target and penetrate enterprise-level “white space” accounts

  • - Qualify inbound and marketing-generated leads within your territory

  • - Re-engage dormant or lost accounts and drive win-back campaigns

  • - Identify expansion opportunities within existing target accounts

  • - Collaborate closely with field sales teams to support strategic initiatives

  • - Leverage buyer intent data and sales intelligence tools to prioritize outreach

  • - Support and drive attendance for events and pipeline-generating activities

  • - Maintain strong knowledge of products, solutions, and market positioning

 

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7+ years of inside sales / BDR / cold calling experience

  • Proven success in a hunter-style role focused on new business development

  • Experience prospecting into enterprise-level organizations

  • Background selling software, cybersecurity, networking, or IT solutions

  • Experience engaging with:

  • IT professionals

  • Infrastructure teams

  • Network Security Engineers

  • Strong understanding of technology, networking, and cybersecurity concepts

  • Demonstrated ability to:

  • Execute outbound prospecting strategies

  • Run sales sequences and campaigns

  • Convert outreach into qualified meetings

 


Tools & Technical Skills

Experience with modern sales and prospecting tools such as:

  • CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce or similar)

  • Sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft)

  • Data platforms (e.g., ZoomInfo, DiscoverOrg, install base data)

  • LinkedIn and social selling tools

  • Microsoft Office / productivity tools
