We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to design, manage, and monitor comprehensive behavioral intervention programs for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. The BCBA is responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and providing clinical supervision to behavior technicians. The goal is to implement effective Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies that foster independence and improve the quality of life for clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and functional analyses to identify the purpose of challenging behaviors.
  • Perform baseline and ongoing skills assessments using tools such as the VBMAPP, ABLLS-R, or AFLS.
  • Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs based on assessment results.
  • Provide regular clinical supervision and field training to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs).
  • Analyze data collected during sessions to monitor client progress and make data-driven modifications to treatment plans.
  • Lead caregiver training sessions to ensure the generalization of skills and consistent implementation of behavior strategies in the home environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports for insurance authorization and legal compliance.
  • Ensure all services adhere to the BACB Ethics Code and state-mandated regulations.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Current and active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
  • Valid state licensure to practice behavior analysis, where applicable.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing ABA programs for children and/or adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and supervise a clinical team.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for interpreting complex behavioral data.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with families, staff, and external providers.
Work Environment
This role may involve working in clinical centers, schools, or client homes. The position requires travel between sites and the physical ability to engage in active behavioral interventions, including the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and transition quickly between physical positions.
