Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position 

Location: Helena, MT 

Job Type: Travel Contract   

Duration: 13 weeks  

Shift: 3x12s Nights 

Pay: $2330/week  

 

Job Description:  

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care to patients with diverse medical conditions and post-surgical needs. The Med Surg RN will monitor patient health, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and skilled in managing multiple patients in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical settings. 

  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress. 

  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed. 

  • Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions. 

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. 

  • Maintain accurate records and uphold safety and infection control standards. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Active RN license in MT 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification 

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification 

  • COVID vaccine, recent TB test 

  • Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
