We are seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) for a temporary 12-week contract assignment located in Yardley, PA.

The PSR serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling administrative tasks. This role supports the clinical team by managing front desk operations, scheduling, verifying insurance, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all patients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism and care

  • Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately

  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments using electronic health records (EHR) systems

  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations or referrals

  • Collect co-pays, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records

  • Ensure patient forms and information are up to date in the system

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow

  • Assist with billing questions and resolve basic patient concerns

  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Previous experience in a medical office or customer service setting (preferred)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes (a plus)


Schedule & Compensation:

  • Varies: Shift may start as early as 6:30am and end as late as 7pm

  • $18-$20/hr depending on experience

  • 12 Week Assignment with possibility of extension
