Location: Murrieta, CA
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 20 weeks
Shift: 4x10 Days (8:00am–6:30pm; Tues–Fri; Mon off)
Pay: $2,616/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description
Travel Occupational Therapist needed for an outpatient pediatric setting treating children with varied developmental conditions including autism, sensory processing challenges, fine motor delays, and regulation issues. Feeding and eating therapy experience is preferred but not required. First-time travelers are accepted. No on-call required. Epic charting environment. Free traveler parking provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with developmental and sensory conditions
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide interventions for autism, sensory processing, and fine motor delays
- Deliver sensory integration and neurodevelopmental treatment approaches
- Support ADLs, visual perceptual, and motor skill development
- Provide patient and family education and home exercise programs
- Complete evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning
- Document care in Epic
Qualifications
- Active California OT license required or eligible with documented ETA
- NBCOT certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Minimum 2 years pediatric outpatient experience required
- Experience with autism and sensory-based therapy required
- Pediatric outpatient experience required
- Feeding therapy experience preferred but not required
- Children’s hospital experience preferred but not required
- Local candidates not accepted
