Location: Oceanside, CA
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 20 weeks
Shift: 4x10 Days (8:00am–6:30pm; Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri; Tues off)
Pay: $2,626/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

Travel Occupational Therapist needed for an outpatient pediatric setting focused on feeding and eating difficulties. Role requires strong clinical experience with pediatric feeding therapy, including sensory and mild oral-motor challenges. First-time travelers are accepted. No on-call required. Schedule is four 10-hour day shifts weekly, with an optional monthly Tuesday team meeting. Epic charting environment. Free parking provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with feeding and eating difficulties
• Perform assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy for sensory-based and mild oral-motor feeding challenges
• Implement sensory diet programs and feeding techniques
• Support children with autism and developmental conditions
• Complete evaluations, reassessments, and discharge planning
• Document care and progress in Epic

Qualifications

• Active California OT license required (in hand or confirmed ETA at submission)
• NBCOT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year pediatric outpatient experience required
• Pediatric feeding therapy experience required
• Sensory and oral-motor feeding experience required
• Autism and sensory diet program experience required
• Brief written summary of pediatric feeding experience required at submission
• Children’s hospital experience preferred but not required
• Local candidates not accepted
