Pay: $2,415.60/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Seattle, Washington. This role supports a high-acuity ICU environment caring for patients with severe and life-threatening conditions, including cardiac events, strokes, trauma, respiratory failure, and post-operative critical care needs.

The ICU RN will provide advanced critical care services, manage ventilated and tracheostomy patients, support physicians during procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop critical care plans.
• Provide advanced life support and wound care.
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient responses.
• Manage and adjust ventilators, monitors, and advanced life-support equipment.
• Administer IV fluids, medications, and continuous infusions.
• Perform suctioning and airway management.
• Respond to codes and life-saving emergencies using critical care protocols.
• Act as patient advocate and provide family education and support.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary critical care team.

Qualifications

• Active Washington RN license or multi-state compact license (required at submission).
• Ventilator and tracheostomy experience required.
• Required Certifications (AHA only):
  • BLS
  • ACLS
• ICU/critical care experience required.
• Ability to float to LTAC units depending on facility census.
• Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills.
• Ability to function effectively in high-acuity settings.
