Pay: $2,644.00/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Endoscopy / GI Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. This role supports a high-volume endoscopy unit performing advanced gastrointestinal procedures, including complex diagnostic and interventional cases.

The RN will function in both circulating and procedural (teching) roles, supporting physicians during advanced procedures such as EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) and ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography). This position requires strong technical proficiency, procedural confidence, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as circulating and procedure nurse in the Endoscopy/GI Lab.
  • Assist with advanced GI procedures including EUS and ERCP.
  • Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile fields.
  • Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
  • Assist with sedation monitoring and patient safety.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR.
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Active Nebraska RN license (required at submission).
  • Required Certifications:
    • BLS
    • ACLS
  • Strong circulating and teching skills required for advanced procedures.
  • Recent experience in Endoscopy/GI Lab required.
  • Experience with EUS and ERCP strongly preferred.
  • Ability to function in high-acuity procedural environments.
  • Strong critical thinking and procedural support skills.
