Radiation Therapist – Radiology / Cardiology - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Pay: $2,553.60 /week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) 

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our Radiology and Cardiology team. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for administering prescribed radiation treatments to patients, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compassionate care throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for treatment using immobilization devices and imaging guidance.
• Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Monitor patients during treatment and report any adverse reactions or concerns.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and medical physicists to ensure precise treatment delivery.
• Educate patients and families about treatment procedures, side effects, and post-treatment care.
• Adhere to all safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required; state licensure as applicable.
• Experience: Previous experience in radiation therapy preferred; experience in cardiac or oncology settings is a plus.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
