Pay: $2664/week
Completion Bonus: Up to $7,500 total. (You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our team, working under the direction of an Interventional Radiologist. The IR Tech is a crucial member of the radiology team, responsible for scrubbing in and assisting with a wide range of complex IR procedures for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role requires flexibility to handle an on-call rotation and commitment to high standards of professionalism and charge reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Interventional Radiologist in all procedures, performing complex IR procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
- Scrub in and work under the direction of the Interventional Radiologist.
- Handle a wide range of procedures including, but not limited to, Uterine Fibroid Embolizations (UFE), TACE, TIPS, various drain/tube placements and changes (G, J, Neph), biopsies, and pain injections.
- Monitor the patient's condition and handle confidential information professionally.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including charge entry and charge reconciliation.
- Adhere strictly to all protocols and safety procedures, demonstrating teamwork, compassion, and respect.
Qualifications:
- Active ARRT (R) certification is REQUIRED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is REQUIRED.
- ARRT Advanced Certification (IR) is highly preferred (Implied by ARRT R and SCRQSAS).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience is REQUIRED (2 years preferred).
- COVID vaccine and recent TB test are required.
