Shift: 3x12s Rotating
Pay: $2296.80/week
Completion Bonus: Up to $7,500 total. (You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Obstetrics (OB) Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for patient care on assigned shifts. The RN is a crucial member of the OB team, utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) with age-specific criteria. This role requires extensive OB experience, multiple advanced certifications, and strong leadership skills to supervise and direct ancillary nursing personnel. The ideal candidate will also be able to function as a 1st assist and scrub OB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria, making clinical judgments based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills.
- Supervise, direct, and assist in teaching non-RN staff, including LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries.
- Maintain full responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on his/her shift.
- Demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes.
- Function as a 1st assist and Scrub OB.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Ohio.
- Minimum of 2+ years of OB Experience is REQUIRED.
- Must have completed 1 Travel Assignment (REQUIRED).
- Certifications:
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS
- ALSO Certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- STABLE Certification
- Fetal Monitoring Certification (FHM)
- COVID vaccine and recent TB test are required.
