Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (NP) with $7500 Bonus

Correctional Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Travel Position  
Location: Grafton, OH
Job Type: Travel Contract   
Duration: 13 weeks  
Shift: 5x8 Days 
Pay: $2816/week 
Completion Bonus: Up to $7,500 total. (You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)

Job Description:  

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) to provide comprehensive, full-time, on-site primary care services to the male patient population within a correctional facility in Ohio. This role requires clinical independence, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to manage acute and chronic conditions typical of a primary care or hospital medicine setting. The schedule offers desirable weekday-only hours.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Provide full-scope primary care services to the male patient population at the correctional facility.
• Conduct comprehensive physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate diagnoses.
• Develop and manage treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
• Initiate and manage prescriptions, including controlled substances (requires DEA registration).
• Collaborate with facility medical staff and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records.

Qualifications:  

• Active Ohio APRN License (FNP or AGNP).
• Board Certification as FNP or AGNP is required.
• DEA certification is required for the assignment. 
• Healthcare-Professional Level BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Minimum one (1) year of working NP experience in a Primary Care or Hospital Medicine setting is required.
• COVID vaccine, recent TB test, and Flu Vaccine are required.
