Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days
Pay: $2534/week
Completion Bonus: Up to $7,500 total. (You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Ambulatory Surgery and Endoscopy to staff the Outpatient Surgery Center. The RN is accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of holistic, individualized nursing care for patients undergoing specialized procedures. This role requires clinical competence, collaborative teamwork, and proficiency with high-acuity procedures like ERCPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs routine assignments, ensuring the safety, comfort, and effective nursing care from admission to discharge.
- Routinely supports and assists with EGDs (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy), ERCPs (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Colonoscopies, and Bronchoscopies.
- Develops, implements, manages, and coordinates an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care incorporating psychological, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors.
- Fosters collaborative relationships through timely and effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers (e.g., Respiratory Services, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams).
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in California
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS are REQUIRED
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- COVID vaccine, recent TB test
- Minimum 3 years of experience is REQUIRED.
- Ambulatory surgery/endoscopy experience within the past 2 years is REQUIRED.
