Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) with $6870 Bonus

Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position  
Location: Clarksville, TN
Job Type: Travel Contract   
Duration: 13 weeks  
Shift: 3x12 Days 
Pay: $1920.60/week 
Completion Bonus: Up to $6870 total. (You will receive $2290 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)

Job Description:  

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to work on a general Med Surg unit. This role requires managing a high patient ratio and a commitment to working every other weekend and holiday. The ideal candidate must be experienced with the Cerner charting system and prepared for mandatory floating within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Med Surg unit (18–24 beds).
• Manage a standard Med Surg Patient Ratio of 1:6.
• Adhere to a strict schedule, including working every other weekend and every other holiday as needed.
• Floating is REQUIRED to other units within the facility as needed to meet census demands.
• Utilize the Cerner, Merge, and PowerChart EMR systems for all documentation and patient care tasks.

Qualifications:  

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is REQUIRED.
• 2 years of experience on a Med Surg floor is preferred.
• Must have experience with Cerner (including Merge and PowerChart).
• COVID vaccine and recent TB test are required.
