Pay: $2,209.32/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) 

Job Description

We are seeking a MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse to join a healthcare facility on a travel contract basis. Nurses must be proficient in EPIC charting and possess the ability to work on a day/night shift rotation. The role requires handling patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7, floating between units, and maintaining strong skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response protocols.

In addition to providing high-quality patient care, the nurse will be responsible for performing IV therapy, managing peripheral lines, and offering oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management.

Required Qualifications

• New York RN License (Required – must be in hand at the time of submittal)

• 1 year of MedSurg/Tele experience

• Proficiency in EPIC charting system (hard requirement)

• BLS certification (Required)

• Experience in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and rapid response/code team usage

• Ability to manage IV therapy, phlebotomy, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive airway management

• Knowledge of isolation precautions

• Must be able to float between units as needed

Job Requirements

• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

• Holiday Availability: Must be available for some holidays

• First-time Travelers: Accepted

• Locals: Must be more than 75 miles from the facility

• Vaccination Requirements:

  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required

  • Flu Vaccine: Status unknown

• Experience: Must have at least 1 year of experience in MedSurg/Tele nursing

• Travel Experience: Not mandatory, but preferred
