Registered Nurse – Telemetry Float Pool (Travel Position)

Shift: 3x12 nights
Pay: $1,899/week  (plus $2,300 completion bonus per contract, up to $6,900 after three contracts) 

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. They work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing practice standards and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines. This role requires the RN to direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to foster patient- and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.

• Plan and implement nursing care based on patient and family needs.

• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.

• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.

• Assume responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

• Float to multiple units, including:

  • Telemetry: CSU, 3 South, 4 South

  • Med-Surg: 3 West, 4 West

  • Inpatient Rehab (IPR)

• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team for patient-centered care.

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of nursing experience (required).

• Travel Assignment Completion: At least one previous travel assignment (required).

• Licenses: Current Michigan RN license (required). Verification via LARA and Nursys.

• EMR Experience: Paragon EMR (Highly Preferred).

• Certifications:

  • BLS (required)

  • ACLS (preferred)

• Skills Checklist: Completed within the past year for RN specialties.

• References: Not required for submission.

• Background/Employment History: Applicants with negative background or employment history may face delays.
