Pay: $2,901.60/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team in Rochester, New York, for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population requiring medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and critical thinking skills, proficiency in EPIC charting, and a passion for delivering safe, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units.

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses to treatment.

Administer prescribed medications and perform interventions per established protocols.

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.

Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in EPIC.

Float between MS/Tele units as needed to meet facility staffing needs.

Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge readiness.
Qualifications

Active New York RN license (must be in hand at time of submission).

Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele nursing experience in an acute care setting.

BLS certification required.

EPIC charting experience required.

Must live more than 75 miles from the facility (locals not accepted).

Previous travel experience preferred but not required.

Must be available for some holidays and every other weekend.

COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status unknown.
