Pay: $2,495.60/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Coordinator to join in Watonga, OK. In this role, the clinician will plan and provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature to inmates within the facility.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions, along with a strong understanding of psychological counseling theory and correctional behavioral health practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews.

  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluation and patient needs.

  • Provide therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing support to inmates.

  • Document all evaluations, interventions, and progress notes accurately in the patient health record.

  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.

  • Utilize evidence-based counseling practices to promote psychological wellness and rehabilitation.

 

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years in a comparable role

Education:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field

Licensure & Certification:

  • Must hold active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure in the state of practice

  • Valid driver’s license preferred (as applicable)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
