Radiology Technologist with $7500 Bonus

Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)- Travel Position  
Location: Albany, NY 
Job Type: Travel Contract   
Duration: 13 weeks  
Shift: 4x10 Nights
Pay: $2624/week 
Completion Bonus: Up to $7500 total. (You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)

Job Description:  

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our fast-paced, high-volume Medical Imaging team. Under the direction of the Medical Director and Radiologist, the technologist will perform technical imaging procedures and assist in the clinical evaluation and care of diverse patients. This role is crucial for creating high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and providing a positive experience in an educationally based environment.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Perform technical imaging procedures utilizing the assigned modality to create high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assist in the clinical evaluation and care of patients, ensuring a safe, positive experience appropriate to the age and special characteristics of the patient.
• Practice and enforce all radiation safety measures in accordance with the New York State Department of Health Code Part 16. Practice in compliance with all Hospital/department policies, New York State standards, and accrediting agency standards.
• Support teaching and engage in continued learning as technology evolves, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
• Utilize knowledge and skills to provide competent imaging and patient care from intake to release.

Qualifications:  

• Associate's Degree in Applied Science – Required
• Graduate of an approved professional academic imaging program or Diploma in X-Ray – Required.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Registered – Required upon hire.
• New York State registration or possession of a limited permit to practice in the State of New York – Required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. 
• COVID vaccine and recent TB test are required.
