Pay: $1,958.40/Week (plus $2,320 completion bonus per contract, up to $6,960 after three contracts) 

 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with strong neurosurgery experience to join the surgical services team at Forth Worth, TX. This position involves working in a high-volume, multidisciplinary OR specializing in complex spine and brain cases.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Circulate and assist in a variety of surgical procedures including neurosurgery (craniotomies, spine), orthopedics, robotics, general, plastics, and urology.

  • Provide safe and efficient intraoperative nursing care in collaboration with the surgical team.

  • Operate and maintain specialized surgical equipment (DaVinci XI, Globus, Mako, microscopes).

  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with OR safety protocols.

  • Document care accurately and efficiently in Meditech EMR.

  • Float to other surgical areas as needed within the facility.

 

Qualifications

License:

  • Active Texas RN license required (Temporary licenses not accepted)

Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years recent OR experience in an acute care hospital setting (not surgery center)

  • Strong neuro/spine experience required (85% spine, 15% brain cases)

Certifications (AHA only):

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • NIHSS

Required Skills:

  • Neurosurgery and spine case management

  • Robotic surgery experience (preferred)

  • Familiarity with Meditech EMR (preferred)

  • Circulating in general, orthopedic, plastic, urology, and transplant procedures

Education:

  • Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program
