- Circulate during cesarean sections, assist physicians during deliveries, and recover surgical patients per policy.
- Attend to the neonatal station during C-sections and conduct complete post-delivery assessments.
- Provide care for post-op OB/GYN patients (e.g., hysterectomy), antepartum, triage, labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
- Educate patients and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure continuity of care and coordination during transfers, discharges, or referrals.
- Participate in continuing education requirements, including Fetal Monitoring (every two years) and S.T.A.B.L.E. certification as offered.
- Float to other units as needed within scope, primarily as helping hands or sitter support when census requires.
Qualifications
- Active Wyoming RN license or Compact State RN license (required at submission).
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
