Shift: 3×12 Days
Pay: $2,451.60/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Albany, NY. The OR RN will provide high-quality perioperative care, supporting surgical teams in delivering safe and effective treatment to patients undergoing operative procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and available.
• Provide direct care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Assist surgeons during operations by handling instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience (travel experience preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
