Shift: 3×12 Nights
Pay: $2,080.80/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Asheville, NC. The PCU RN will provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs, ensuring safe and effective treatment in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the PCU.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
• Educate patients and families about ongoing care and discharge plans.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience (travel experience preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (other facility-required certifications as applicable).
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and procedures.
