Pay: $1,749.60/week (plus $2,050 completion bonus per contract, up to $6,150 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Aurora, CO. The PCU RN will deliver high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs, ensuring safe and effective treatment in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the PCU.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly respond to changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Educate patients and families about ongoing care and discharge plans.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience (travel experience preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and procedures.
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
