Location: Vicksburg, MS 

Job Type: Travel Contract   

Duration: 13 weeks  

Shift: 5x8s 

Pay: $2055/week  

 

Job Description:  

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vascular Echo Technologist to join our team. The Vascular Echo Tech will perform high-quality vascular and echocardiographic ultrasound studies, assist physicians in accurate diagnosis, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, technically proficient, and committed to excellence in vascular and cardiac imaging. 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Perform vascular ultrasound and echocardiography procedures according to established protocols. 

  • Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal imaging results. 

  • Operate ultrasound equipment and evaluate images for diagnostic quality. 

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support accurate diagnoses. 

  • Maintain accurate records and document imaging procedures in compliance with facility standards. 

  • Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures. 

  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program 

  • Certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) 

  • Current state licensure 

  • BLS certification, COVID vaccine, TB test 

  • Minimum 1 year of vascular/echo ultrasound experience
