Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer - Travel Position  

Location: Cape Girardeau, MO 

Job Type: Travel Contract   

Duration: 13 weeks  

Shift: 5x8s 

Pay: $2681/week  

Job Requirements

    • Echo experience required
    • Vascular and pediatrics experience preferred
    • CCI or ARDMS certification required
    • Minimum 2 years of experience
    • Workdays: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday

Required Certifications

    • ACLS (AHA only; Instructor, Provider, and RQI acceptable)
    • BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; Instructor, Provider, and RQI for AHA acceptable; AHA highly preferred)
    • PALS (AHA only; Instructor, Provider, and RQI acceptable)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
    • National Tech Certification Verification (within 30 days of start)
    • State License (primary source verification within 30 days of start; permanent license required, no temporary licenses)
    • NURSYS Verification (within 30 days of start)
    • EPIC Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication skills check administered onsite; two attempts allowed)

Competency Requirements

    • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
    • Color Blind Testing (Relias online exam acceptable)
    • Competency Exams relevant to profession/specialty
    • Core Parts I, II, III (for subcontractors; Lotus HIPAA form or Core testing acceptable)

Facility-Specific Requirements

    • Passport-style photo for badge
    • Influenza Vaccination Verification or approved exemption (medical or religious)
    • Completion of facility E-Learning within 3-5 days of receiving access (required for clearance)
    • Upload E-Learning transcript for clearance

Health and Safety Requirements

    • Physical Exam (within 1 year of start)
    • Mask Fit Test (within 12 months; specific mask models required; onsite fit test available if needed)
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine (required for NICU and Family Birthplace placements; within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 1 year; positive TB requires clear chest X-ray within 5 years and TB questionnaire)
    • TB Questionnaire (required annually for all candidates)
    • Immunizations or positive titers for:
    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B (vaccine series, positive titer, or declination)
    • Varicella
    • Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen (within 30 days of start)
    • Seasonal Flu Vaccination (required September 1 - March 31; deadline October 31; exemptions allowed)

Background and Compliance

    • 7-year criminal background check (within 60 days of start; includes all locations, aliases, and various registries)
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM check (within 60 days of start)
    • HHS/OIG check (within 60 days of start)
    • Two professional references required
    • Employment application required
    • Annual skills checklist required
    • Education verification (highest level must be verified)
    • Missouri State EDL Search Results (state-mandated, completed prior to start)
