The Registered Nurse, or RN, is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE RN POSITION:

  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program of study.
  • Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice.
  • At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Background screening as required by the state or contract.
  • Drug screening as required by the contract.
  • The RN  should be able to read medical equipment and documents. Pushing carts and medical equipment may be a component of the job.
  • Registered Nurses must be able to lift at least 30 pounds; walk up and down the stairs; position patients; walk long distances; and stand for prolonged periods.
  • CPR as required by client facility; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.

•            Schedule: 4x10s variable shifts 13 weeks

 

•            Compensation: $2,680 per week

 

•            Start Date: 7/1/25

 

 

Unit Notes

 

Unit Surgical Pre-Op and PACU

# Beds Pre-op and PACU consists of 3 separate floors.

Pre-Op- "CP 6" - 11 bays, "Lindeman 5" - 5 bays and "Jones 3" - 6 bays.

PACU- "CP 6" - 16 bays, "Lindeman 5" - 7-8 bays and "Jones 3" - 10 bays

#cases per day on average 66-80

Phase 1 and Phase 2? Yes- Travelers staff both areas

Nurse:Patient Ratios Pre-Op- 1:3 - 5

PACU- Phase I = 1:1 for high acuity and for first 30 minutes then 1:2 Phase II = 1:3 Phase III 3 - 5 stable bed waits (1:2 stable CCU bed waits)

Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, ACLS, PALS
