Schedule: Days/Nights
13 week assignment
On-Call: Possible on-call requirement (nights, weekends, or rotating call depending on department needs)
Job Summary
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic surgical services team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, able to anticipate surgeon needs, and experienced in high-acuity surgical environments.

Candidates must have strong OR experience in the following specialties:
- Cardiac
- Neuro
- Thoracic
- Orthopedic
- Vascular
Experience assisting with complex surgical procedures is essential for success in this role.

RN Position Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one year of RN experience (OR experience strongly preferred)
- Background screening and drug screening per contract
- Ability to read medical documents and operate surgical/medical equipment
- Must be able to:
- Lift at least 30 lbs
- Walk long distances
- Stand for long periods
- Navigate stairs
- Assist in patient positioning and transport
- CPR/BLS as required by facility
- Facility-specific health and screening requirements may apply
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all ATC Healthcare and facility policies
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Prepare OR rooms, equipment, and instruments
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
- Respond to urgent and emergent patient needs
- Maintain accurate documentation regarding patient status and care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- Deliver patient-centered care that is culturally sensitive and age-appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned (assignments may vary)
