Compensation: $2,600-$2,700/weekly

Location- Albany, NY

13 week assignment 
Scrubs: Navy blue required (L&D will provide)
EMR: Epic experience REQUIRED


Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, compassionate, and confident in managing both routine and high-risk deliveries.


Required Certifications

  • Epic experience REQUIRED

  • EFM Certification (NCC) or Intermediate AWHONN, issued within the past 3 years

    • Proof of class registration for AWHONN may be submitted initially — certification required for compliance

  • Navy blue scrubs required (L&D will provide)

RN Position Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice

  • At least 1 year of RN experience (L&D experience required; specify minimum if needed)

  • Background and drug screening per contract

  • Able to read/interpreting medical equipment and documentation

  • Ability to:

    • Lift 30+ pounds

    • Walk long distances

    • Climb stairs

    • Stand for prolonged periods

    • Position and assist patients

  • CPR as required by facility; additional facility screening requirements may apply


Representative Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum

  • Utilize fetal monitoring and interpret EFM tracings appropriately

  • Assess maternal and fetal status and respond to emergent situations

  • Collaborate with OB physicians, midwives, and the wider care team

  • Implement and evaluate individualized care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments per provider orders

  • Maintain accurate documentation

  • Uphold HIPAA standards and ensure patient confidentiality

  • Provide culturally sensitive, age-appropriate, patient-centered care

  • Perform duties in accordance with ANA professional nursing standards

  • Other duties as assigned (may vary by assignment)
