ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) for a healthcare facility located in Bronx, NY (Fulton St area). We are looking for compassionate, reliable candidates with psychiatric experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details

• Location: Bronx, NY (Fulton St)

• Schedule: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem

• Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting

• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient condition

• Perform EKGs, Phlebotomy, and Specimen Collection as needed

• Assist nurses with treatments and patient care procedures

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment

• Provide emotional support to patients, including those with behavioral health / psychiatric needs

• Follow infection control and safety procedures

• Communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare team

Requirements

• Active Patient Care Technician (PCT) Certification – REQUIRED

• Psych / Behavioral Health experience – REQUIRED

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) – REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or GED

• Previous hospital, rehab, or psych facility experience preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
